HOW THE STORY BEGINS

The Chop & Wop Ristorante story begins with the love for food, cooking, and family. Passionate about food and cooking his entire life, Owner Operator, Marco Rodrigues learned his great grandmother’s traditional Portuguese recipes from an early age, often accompanying her in the kitchen for hours. These childhood memories fueled Marco’s vision and passion as a food connoisseur.

In our cosmopolitan reality, the emergence of food fusion reminds us that our differences are a reason to celebrate and an opportunity to create new traditions. The only Portuguese-Italian fusion dining experience in the Greater Toronto Area, Chop & Wop Ristorante offers guests a truly unique, memorable, dining experience that cannot be replicated anywhere else.
